Job Summary: Manages daily operations of assigned areas(s) in the Facilities department to ensure alignment with departmental and organizational objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Performs staffing, performance evaluation and training activities, and assists with capacity planning for staff and contract labor.
- Ensures that facilities are maintained, secured, renovated, and constructed according to departmental/organizational policies, procedures, plans and initiatives.
- Assists with the development of and compliance with the departmental budgets, including capital, operating and construction budgets.
- Maintains knowledge of applicable statutory, regulatory and administrative requirements and ensures departmental compliance.
- Responsible for Joint Commission Accreditation Standards & all regulatory compliance
- Will attend EOC meetings & provide reports for utilities management & life safety
- Will also attend Emergency Management meetings and provide support for ongoing emergency preparedness efforts.
- Co-Manager of the Fire Alarm Procedures/Serves as Co-Fire Marshall

Education:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of seven years of technical field experience
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Physical Requirements: Manual dexterity to operate office equipment. May require periods of sitting, standing and the ability to walk to various locations throughout the Cleveland Clinic Campus to attend meetings; must have normal or correction vision to clearly communicate verbally by phone or in person.
