PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR
Arvin Sango, Inc., a Madison, IN manufacturer of exhaust systems and other original equipment parts, has an immediate opening for a Manufacturing Production Supervisor on the 2nd shift at our Campbellsburg, Kentucky facility.
Responsibilities include supervising/coordinating the daily activities of production members; plans/assigns work, and recommends/implements improvements in equipment, operating procedures and working conditions. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards, along with meeting productivity goals for your area.
Other responsibilities include ensuring effective member relations on a daily basis; provide member coaching and development, and resolve member concerns through problem resolution. You will also be responsible for meeting production/quality standards on a daily basis, balancing quality, safety, productivity, cost, and morale to achieve positive results and support continuous improvement activities within team through active participation and direction.
High School diploma or equivalent required, post secondary education helpful, a minimum of 3-5 years manufacturing floor experience as a lead person or supervisor preferred, demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others, strong interpersonal and communication skills, knowledge of the Toyota Production System, and good working knowledge of manufacturing systems and processes. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong mechanical/machinery aptitude through work and/or personal experience.
