This opportunity is for a
Development Engineer II
on site at our client. As an employee of Productive Resources, you will plan, coordinate, perform product design, testing and/or analysis work for a complete project of moderate scope or for a significant portion or a sub-system of a major and diverse project. Operate in a team environment, providing input to design solutions and participating in design reviews. May assign, coordinate and review portions of the work to support personnel. Decisions are made within established guidelines and may be reviewed by supervisors.
Responsible for an engine dyno test cell and perform systematic after treatment performance testing using design of experiments and develop datasets for future emission tier projects.
Analyze data generated from test cell and develop reports to be reviewed by supervision.
Serve as support to external laboratories and assist after treatment accelerated aging and ash loading.
Support engine dyno, flow bench and spray characterization tests at internal and/or external laboratory.

Demonstrate strong engineering problem solving skills.
Quality oriented with proactive drive for results.
B.S in mechanical engineering or equivalent degrees in science or engineering.
2-3 years of testing experience with diesel engines and engine dynamometers.
2-3 years of emission control experience (Calibration, Test Validation, or Design).
1-2 years of experience with diesel after treatment (DOC, DPF, decomposition, or SCR’s).
M.S in mechanical engineering or equivalent degrees in science or engineering.
