Equipment Manager - Pipeline Construction Service Company
Shop - Indiana, PA area
Our Client, a growing oilfield services company, is seeking a dynamic individual to serve as a Equipment Manager in its pipeline construction division.
General Responsibilities:
  • Supervises and coordinates all company equipment and tools
  • Responsible for managing and supervising 2 mechanics
  • Manages all repairs and maintenance of equipment in accordance with procedures and expectations
  • Works with company management on making equipment and truck purchases and sales
  • Ensures all service, maintenance and inspection records are kept up to date
  • Supervises the repair and maintenance of equipment in accordance with procedures and expectations
  • Ensures equipment and work spaces are maintained to a high level of cleanliness at all times
  • Maintains a dispatch log for all equipment and tools
  • Monitors the return and condition of all equipment and tools
  • Ensures good working relationships are maintained between the yards and sites.
  • Maintains effective reporting lines to management
  • Ensures that checklists for all equipment have been completed
  • Maintains standards of safety that comply with Company’s Health, Safety & Environment requirements
  • 5 years experience in a position dealing with equipment and truck management
  • Knowledge and experience working in the Oil & Gas industry in a similar role preferred
  • Experience tracking, reporting and maintaining equipment asset informtion
  • Knowledge and experience buying and selling heavy duty trucks and equipment required
  • Must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written and oral instructions
  • Must have working knowledge of common MS office programs
  • Must have strong analytical, communication, organizational and time management skills
  • Must have High School Diploma or GED
  • Must possess a valid/clear Driver’s License
Compensation / Schedule Overview:
  • Salary based on experience.
