Since the mid 90’s my client has become one of the leading third party transportation providers in the USA. They have gross revenue of approximately $100M per year. They have 7000 total truckers (5000 core truckers) that they use nationwide. They also have 9 offices scattered around the country. 
Right now they are looking to hire Sales Directors, Sales Agents (1099), and Freight Agents (1099) who will be working out of their homes.
  • Sales Director (Salary + commission + benefits)
  • Sales Agents (1099 – Strictly Commission)
  • Freight Agents (1099 – 70/30 split)
So the first thing you need is a book of business. If you don’t have one, there isn’t anything I can do for you with these 3 jobs. Then you need to decide which of the 3 jobs fits your circumstances best and apply for that one. This job is the Sales Agent job. The other two are listed on this job site as well.

  • This is not a “cradle to grave job”. You handle the account development, assist with collections (if any), and relationship for the first few years.   
  • To grow your business you will have to make a healthy quantity of ‘cold calls’.
  • You’ll need good organizational skills to work on new and existing business.
