SALES DIRECTOR:

Since the mid 90’s my client has become one of the leading third party transportation providers in the USA. They have gross revenue of approximately $100M per year. They have 7000 total truckers (5000 core truckers) that they use nationwide. They also have some offices scattered around the country. 
Right now they are looking to hire Sales Directors (company employee), Sales Agents (1099), and Freight Agents (1099) who will be working out of their homes in Truck Broker Sales.
  • Sales Director (Salary + commission + benefits)
  • Sales Agents (1099 – Strictly Commission)
  • Freight Agents (1099 – 70/30 or 75/25 split)
So the first thing you need is a book of business. If you don’t have one, there isn’t anything I can do for you with these 3 jobs. JOB SCOPE:
  • This is not a “cradle to grave job”.  You handle the account development, assist with collections (if any) and relationship for the first few years.   
  • To grow your business you will have to make a healthy quantity of ‘cold calls’.
  • You’ll need good organizational skills to work on new business and existing business.
JOB PAY / BENEFITS:
  • Salary – negotiable
  • Commission – 20% 1st yr; 15% 2nd yr; 10% 3rd yr, then it goes to a house account.  % based on profit per load. No minimum or maximum
